Before we say goodbye for the summer...a quick look back, a look at what's ahead, and new ways to support Friends of Beattie-Powers

Bigger audiences, more events
Last fall through this spring, we welcomed more people than ever to a record-breaking 35 events, culminating with our 2019 Benefit Dinner. Once again, it was a pleasure to see so many friends, old and new, and we thank you for making our only big fundraiser of the year a success.
Growing more beautiful than ever
The park at Beattie-Powers Place is open dawn to dusk, seven days a week. We invite you to enjoy our new plantings, which are about to be in full bloom. This spring, we also introduced a Master Plan to enhance Beattie-Powers Place with new trees and shrubs the community will enjoy for years to come.
Become part of our lasting legacy
Sponsor one of our new trees for $500, and we’ll commemorate your gift with a medallion featuring your name. Several have been claimed, but we still have three Flowering Cherry Trees, a Scarlet Oak, two Red Maples, and ten Andromedas awaiting underwriters. If flowers are more your passion, consider endowing our gardens!

A hint of what’s to come, beginning in mid-October

Five Planet Arts Jazz Concerts
Three TON Chamber Musicians concerts

Lectures and demonstrations:
