Building a Garden Landscape That Works Year-Round or, "30 years of looking at gardens, what have I learned?" Sat., Apr. 27, 2pm. Free admission

We’re delighted to present renowned landscape designer Peter Bevacqua, who will share his insights and expertise on how to create a garden that will delight throughout the year.
He came to garden and landscape design after 25 years in advertising, where he was creative director in the New York office of an internationally well-known ad agency. Mr. Bevacqua brings with him his ability to listen to clients’ desires and turn them into creative solutions. He feels fortunate to have been able to combine his background in art and design with his life long addiction to plants.
Mr. Bevacqua honed his gardening skills studying with Christopher Lloyd and Fergus Garrett at Great Dixter in England, and with Helen Dillon in her garden in Dublin. His garden has been published twice in the New York Times, featured in The Gardens of the Hudson Valley by Monacelli Press, and in the Private Gardens of the Hudson Valley. And recently in the Rose and Ivy Journal.
He sits on the Horticultural Advisory Board of the Berkshire Botanical Garden. He lives and gardens in Claverack, New York.
