Our first poetry series concludes with a reading by contemporary poets Lila Dunlap and Billie Chernicoff, who will read from their own works. Lila Dunlap was born and raised in New Orleans and is a graduate of Bard College. Her work has appeared in The Doris Magazine, Open Space Magazine, The Bat, and on the website Dispatches from the Poetry Wars, and chapbooks have been published by Metambesen and The Doris Press. Her collection, The Sea Comes Back, was published in 2017 by Lunar Chandelier Collective, and a second is forthcoming. She lives in Catskill, NY.
Billie Chernicoff's most recent books of poetry are Bronze (Lunar Chandelier Collective) and Sea Glass (Metambesen.org)
She is also the author of The Red Dress (Dr. Cicero Books) and Waters
Of (Lunar Chandelier Collective). She is co-editor with Tamas Panitz of
The Doris (thedoris.world), a magazine of new writing and translation.
