Please join us for an afternoon of sublime music performed by pianist JongSun Woo. At the age of 17, this already-accomplished young artist made her debut at London's Wigmore Hall, and has performed widely across the UK. Bio:
JongSun Woo is currently in her second year of Advanced Performance Studies at Bard College Conservatory, studying with Peter Serkin. Since her debut at London's Wigmore Hall at the age of 17, she has performed widely across the UK in venues such as, Purcell Room Southbank Centre, St. John's Smith Square, St. Martin-in-the Fields, West Road Concert Hall and has appeared as a soloist with various London orchestras.JongSun started her studies with Patsy Toh at Royal Academy of Music Junior Department in London. At the age of 16, she was awarded UK government scholarship to study at the Purcell School for Young Musicians. She then went on to continue her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, from where she graduated with First Class Honours in 2014. She has also received guidance from Ferenc Rados and Rita Wagner at Prussia Cove International Musicians' Seminar 2015 & 2016, Richard Goode, Krysia Osostowicz, Susan Tomes, Richard Lester and Robert Levin among others.
