In recognition of the 150th anniversary of the onset of the Civil War in America, Friends of Beattie-Powers welcomes back Sylvia Hasenkopf, noted Hudson Valley historian, genealogist and columnist, as she explores slavery and the long road to freedom for Greene County's African-American population. Please join us for this fascinating journey into local history. Reminder: every seat at Beattie-Powers Place was filled for Sylvia's last excursion into Greene County's past, so please reserve your place by calling 518.943.4751 or emailing rhoveninc@gmail.com.
