Surely, you must be tired of all the snow and ice that has smothered our
landscape, and eager to stop shoveling or snow blowing! Assuming you
are, we have some events tailor-made to get you out of "cabin fever"
mode. As you know, we have always tried to offer you a series of varied
concerts and lectures throughout the year, and this year we will continue
Listed below are our events planned scheduled for the next several months. All
are FREE and open to the public, with the exception of our Valentine's
Day event with Janeen Sarlin. Four years ago we had Janeen do a
demonstration of how to use chocolate on Valentine's Day that was a sell
out event! Well, she is back by popular demand, and you won't want to
miss this. We ask that you reserve with either an email or a call, so
that you are assured of a seat. And now, here is our schedule:
> February 12 at 2PM "A Romance with Chocolate" with Janeen Sarlin $20 per ticket.
> February 27 at 2PM "Bard at Beattie" Concert.
The Sorx Quartet performs String and Piano works by Ysaye and Paganinni, and the Bartok Quartet No. 4.
> March 13 at 2PM "Bard at Beattie" Concert
> April 10 at 2PM "Bard at Beattie" Concert featuring Voice Students of Metropolitan Opera Soprano, Dawn Upshaw.
> May 21 at 2PM Presentation by Sylvia Hasenkopf, "The Road to Freedom: The African-American Experience in Greene County."

We have other events that will be filled in as we get closer to schedule, so please check our blog for additions. And, now get out your calendar and check your schedule....and then fill us in the spaces available!
We look forward to seeing you soon.
